To open up your heart, and see what’s deep inside;
to stand and face the truth, instead of running off to hide.
Every time we do this, each time we take a stand;
we learn to overcome any ‘fear’ that is at hand.
The fear that rules our thoughts, our actions and our mind;
can easily be cast aside with the courage we will find.
If only we just stop to look at what we truly know;
our spirits crying out to us, and calling us to grow.
But often we don’t hear it, or sometimes don’t pay heed;
and a soul that is neglected is a sorry soul indeed.
We have but just to listen and let OUR feelings flow;
and soon it will be clear to us and everyone we know;
That we have really taken steps to follow our true calling;
and the Faith we find in our OWN heart will keep our self from falling.
