Today

Another day comes to a close.

What will I take with me going forward?

After tomorrow & beyond this week,

into next year & perhaps for a lifetime…

What are the lessons I have learned

just by having lived today?

If only I have realized what a blessing it was

to have been given this day at all…

That would be enough.

Life is confusing. Life is great!

Life is energy coupled with fate.

 

Each day a blessing, if the truth be told.

Like the end of a rainbow & its’ pot of Gold.

 

We’ve only to look & then we can see

the treasures that wait for you & for me.

 

But sometimes we stumble & wander all blind,

not noticing clearly the gifts we could find.

 

If only we opened our hearts & our eyes

to capture the magic beneath the disguise.

 

For each cloudy day has a glimmer of light

& morning will come after darkest of nights.

 

Just hold on to Faith & always Believe,

the world can be yours if you learn to Receive.
